『「未来世紀ブラジル」スペシャル・エディション2枚組』
2003年11月24日『「未来世紀ブラジル」スペシャル・エディション2枚組』のDVDを購入した。
特典ディスクに結構期待していたのであるが、大きな期待はずれであった。
わざわざ別ディスクにした割には、メイキング映像は30分程度しかなく、何を間違えたのか、劇場予告編が、通常版とスクイーズ版の2種類が収録されている。
「未来世紀ブラジル」の本編は確か3バージョンあると思うのだが、今回のDVDには1バージョンしか収録されていないのも残念である。
ついでに、「バトル・オブ・ブラジル」の著者が「未来世紀ブラジル」について語る映像も入っているかと期待していたのであるが、これもなかった。
因みに、リージョン・フリーで「Brazil / Criterion Collection」というDVDがリリースされているのだが、わたしはこのDVDの国内版だと思っていたのであるが、これは大きな勘違いのようである。
この「Brazil / Criterion Collection」は、次のような特典満載なのだ。
国内版に失望したわたしは、購入したくなってしまうのだ。
